how tall of a riser?

hey guys I have an 09' rmk 700, and I was wondering how tall of a riser I could go with before I had to extend the lines? and which one worked the best, RSI, ROX, others? I am thinking of going to 8" or 9" tall. I am 6'1" tall and the stock one's are too short.

I'm 6ft 3 I went 2 in. and its just right for me but that is with pro taper bars also.

Well I had a nine inch on my 08 dragon. Its to high. I broke a steering post, AND steering hoop cause of the riser. Went to a stock 5.25 or what ever they are and don't miss the monster riser at all. I actually have better control with a shorter riser. Im also 6.1. Big risers are about as useful as monster stickers. Watch Schooled, they explain why. But just so you know, A nine riser fit with stock lines. Just have to reroute some stuff

I'm 6'6" and had to use a 8" riser, and it mounted on without a hitch, had to reroute the cables for the warmers and adjust the throttle wire a bit, but other than that it was just plug and play
