How much header wrap does it take

DEI makes a awesome header wrap paint to apply after the water has dried. I used about 3 cans for a single pipe. Keeps the wrap from falling apart over time.

Well lets see some photos of what you guys did.Are these turbo pipes your wrapping?

Not mine but here ya go Larry. I have stuff coming to do mine. That white dust from the stock heat shield can't be good for the sled.

Keeps the heat in the pipe to the outlet. Keeps the underhood temps lower than without it.........

how are you guys holding these wraps on? I used a titanium wrap from oriellys and good stainless hose clamps but they keep coming loose and then the clutch grabs the wrap and all hell brakes loose!

Nice wrap Indeep

Used the 50' 2" but will admit the tighter wrap looks better.
Sprayed mine with some glue crap maybe dei then just used stainless tie wire and it's still holding after a couple yrs. Tried the clamps and they are heavy and don't last.

the one inch wrap looks great. i tried the 2 inch wrap on my slp pipe. part of it looked great, part looked terrible, both ended up failing and comming off. i think the 2 inch wrap is not flexible enough to wrap contours needed for sled pipes. i am wondering if the 1" is more flexible and easier to install? i had 50 feet and it was alittle short of doing the whole pipe from behind the spring mounts at the engine, to the reducer near the can.
