How much break in oil in tank?

Offhand does anyone know how much oil I should use to break in my first tank? I pumped out the VES gold and am using legend’s instead.

I heard 2liters or 5oz/2gallons

Sound right?

My dealer told me that they mixed the first tank 40:1 .

they had me put in 32oz as I was fueling on top of what the dealer put in thier

I think they only put in a gallon of thier premix

very important to put the oil in slowly as your fueling to get it to mix.....if you just dump the oil in after fueling you'll have a big blob of just oil in the bottom of the tank

I always pre mix in a 5 gallon can first and then dump into the tank. Then you know what the ratio is and it is mixed well.
If polaris would not make us worry about the oil injection ratio this would be all null and void after break-in.

The owners mannual says 16oz to 5 gallons. It also says to mix in a 5 gallon can like stated earlier.
