How much boost on avgas

Just wondering if any body is running straight avgas on there m8's?how many pounds of boost are you running?and have you had any trouble

I am running 7-9 on my d8 at 6000k plus

I've ran 12 lbs on 100LL at 5500+ elevation and a 12:1 head.

Up to 10lbs at 9500ft 100% 100 LL Dragon 800

We ran one of are dragons for a few hundred miles at 14 lbs on 100% E85 works great just smells alittle different.

2005 M7 BD Race gas kit (no intercooler) 100% avgas, 9lbs never below 6500 feet. No signs of deto on plugs or pistons.


I wonder how high I can go????

I run 5psi, straight 100LL @ sea level 13:1 domes

I was running straight 100ll on my cutler dragoncat

It gave me problems tuning mu attitude box , now using 60/40 blend with 87 non ethanol and it is much better
