I don't care what brand you're riding. That looks like a long ride back to the trailer.

I've never seen a tanden tow before

I did it yesterday..100 ft of rope that slides thru the spindle teathers on the dead sled, and one end hooked to each tow sled...allows you to easily tow a dead sled out in powder.....tow sleds ride side by side and the slide allows for give and take when traction is unequal...

Good trick Mike, I will remember that one. There is a video of me trying to get a dead summit out of Lost Lake on here and we all end up on our sides. Wound up hand lining that one up and out of the ravine with 13 people doing the old tug of war!

yea figured that one out in the back of eureka.dropped into a bad *** canyon..only way out was where we came in..2 sleds hooked to dead kept crashing..so we put in 3 tracks side by side and let put the 2 spindle leashes on a caribiner, used my 100 ft rope thru the caribiner and to each sled..when one had to slow for an obstacle the other kept going keeping the slack tight and the caribeener acts like a pulley block...

Yep, that's my sled, the '07! I don't think it's the crank, made a looong pull and got a little aluminum on the PTO plug, no compression, mag plug was fine, engine is 100% stock, even the jetting. I limped it about 1/8 mile and she had a come-apart. Not sure what happened but it's under warranty. It's still on the mountain waiting for the weather to clear to get a heli in there. Not an area it can be towed from until the snow sets up and nothing but more snow in the forecast.

WB make sure you insist that the dealer puts in a 08 short block. If it's not the crank it will be going soon enough.

I towed out a Turbo Nytro yesterday Graveler so we'll call it even. That looks like a Ski-Doo threesome.

Yeah one M7 wouldn't beable to get my fat *** outta there let alone a sled. One xp with the 07 on its tunnel made it farther than the turbo or the tandom two tow attempt. Funny thing is this happend about 1 oclock and we were pretty much outta gas anyway.

when i was in cooke city we had 2 m7 153's and a KK900 with a 162 that couldnt get a 144 rev over daisy pass in setup snow, dead sleads are hard to tow. need to get a groomer.

but the rope wound through the spindles is the best way to tow with 2 sleds.
