How many amps does the 12v accessory plug provide?

I'm looking at wiring in a heated visor plug and an LED light bar. Does anyone know how many amps the 12v accessory plug can provide on a 2012 m800 without estart?

I recall seeing forum posts from people saying you'll blow your regulator if you try using the power plug by the oil tank without the estart regulator. Is this true as well?

I wouldn't pull right off the regulator just to be safe, in LED world you really don't need much power to get good brightness
