How long will this last and what effect?

The jet stream is changing and looks like we are in for warmer weather for a while!
Storms have been steady and temps low but the jet stream is moving east and it appears we are in for a warm-up!!!!
How long will this last and how much will it hurt the snow we already have?
Hopefully we will continue to be blessed with higher than average snowfall for the rest of the winter!

hopefully not long. its suposed to be up to 60 for the next couple of days here and up to 50 up in the hills....just makes me sick! i really hope it goes bakc to where it was!!!

I havent payed attention to the weather patterns in your neck of the woods. I'm surprised that you arent getting anything out of this system.

anyway, this kind of sucks but It will change soon, and february should bring a lot of snow.

its been over California for a week and half. Looks like another week and a half. the largest high pressure system on record since 1994.

yeah, western MT is freakin warm out, the lined pants are WAY warm today, going outside to work on the sled, its at LEAST 50 out, oh well, will be a good base when more deep rolls around.

In MN, yesterday morning it was -25 with the high of -5. Today the high was -1 and is suposed to be arround -25 or colder. The little snow that we have is not going anywhere this week. Next week we have a shot of getting in to the 30's above.

get used to it wheather channel says warmer and drier then normal for the next 60 days. the jet stream has straighten more and dips down in mn more.
