How long of a chain???

Any one know how many link chain for a 19/45 compaired to a 19/43??? Can you use the same chain???

19-43 is 72p. I don't think its quite long enough for 19-45, so you'll have to go with a 74p

There might not be enuf adjustment in the tensioner to take up that much slack from the 74 p. It might be able to take up all the slack too, but I would run the correct size change to be on the safe side. Besides, you don't want that much curve in your chain anyway, ideally it should make a straight line or almost straight line coming off the sprockets with the chain tensioner only taking a very little bit of slack out of the chain, not making it bend around like a snake.
