How hot does a aftermarket can get on a M1100 T?

Trying something with a Speedwerx can. I think it might be getting hotter than I thought. Could this can get over 1500 degrees? If this works out, it might be a great way to lower radiant under hood temps and keep panels from melting. I will let you know, but right now, I need to figure out how hot this can is getting. I can't find my damned IR heat gauge. It is painted, not ceramic.

The can would be glowing at 1500 degrees. I don't think that the header is even getting to 1500 and it will glow. I would guess the header is likely about 1200. And the muffler is likely about 300-500 degrees. This is F not C
