How high of a riser on an XP??

I switched from the stock 205mm to the 250mm (so from 8 - 10") I need another two inches. So I either need a 12" riser, or put the stock riser back on with a 4" extension. Any recommendations? Will the cables reach this far without extensions? Anyone interested in a 10" riser for their XP?

I am 6'8" and the 10" is just right! If you put a 12" in you will need to lenghten all for your wire, throttle, and brake hose. Why so tall?

12'' is too high I think because your arms are going to hert when you drive on the trail to the spot to play in.....but if your always riding in powder then its ok and yes Jgp54 is right you have to lenghten you wires....also there is a handel bar that already has an extetoin and you can add it to your extentions

Yeah, Im 6'4" and with the 10" riser my arms are stretched straight when standing up riding. I could care less about how it is on the trail. Crap, I really didnt want to have to extend my cables.

You can fit 11" without extending anything. What I did with mine is I cut an old riser in half from a ZX or Rev and then drilled out the holes and used longer bolts. This works cause I did it on my XP last year also. It is a cheap way to get a few extra inches.

I've got the 10" too and I'm thinking about going another 1 or 2". A guy on ebay sells 1" extensions that you can put on either end, so if you only want one inch only put one on, two for two inches... My cables are long enough too for at least another inch. The only thing that stops me is when I roll it I don't want to twist them because they are so long. (Oh-I'm 6-06)

Cool. Even another inch would make a huge difference. A guy is probably better off selling my 10" and throwing a 3" powermadd on with the stock riser.
