How far from Denver metro to

Your times are not realistic, it seems at least 3 of us have said that to you.

a billion people can tell me that but my clock is correct on my truck and i have made the drive to and from college a ridiculous amount of times. its 15 minutes from South Fork to the top of Wolf Creek. Its 4 hours 30 minutes from my house to Fort Collins. Fort Collins is about an hour north of denver as I25 is usually full of idiots. 285 is usually not crowded at all and i can always make good time on 285.

Sorry if you guys drive slower when pulling a trailer. For me, pulling a trailer doesnt slow me down at all.

No way in hell you can do Crested Butte in 3 hours from Denver, not in a vehicle, airplane yes.

222 miles... I would say 4 hours, considering the roads you will be driving on.

222 miles in 4 hours is less than 60mph. At 75mph its a 3 hour trip. i go a little less than 75mph. Sorry if i should have said "3 hours 10 minutes." Jesus.

The picky-ness of some people.

Have you ever considered there just might be some snow and/or ice on the roads????????? It is freakin winer by the way. Maybe you should try out for nascar if you are such a badazz driver. You are the guy off in the ditch or causing others to go off the road aren't you? Come on, you don't have to bs to sound cool. People are looking for honest advice and information.

Snow/ice on the roads? Thats why i have a switch that says "4x4 High." i utilize it.
Season doesnt have much to do with it. Been driving around the past week? Roads are bad for a few hours after it snows then they are perfect. CDOT does a great job.
Way to compare nascar to my driving on the highway at 75mph
Yep im always in the ditch. Since i started driving i have yet to go off into a ditch, or even slightly go off the road.
God i love people who call bs. Follow me. i will get from my house to fort collins in 4 hours 30 minutes. Fort collins as i said is an hour north of denver. Thus South Fork To Denver = 3 hours 30 minutes. Wolf creek is 15-20 minutes from south fork. Thus Denver to wolf creek = 3 hours 45 to 3 hours 50 minutes approx. My 4 hour estimate was even longer.

i will bs just to look cool on snowest. I care oh so much about Snowest and what the people on here think. Snowest is all about brand bashing. Its the forum i go to when i want to see what the latest bashing has to do with.

You obviously do care what the people on here think or you would have dropped this long ago. Also you would not have all your toys listed for bragging rights. If you don't care...don't post. The fact that you have not ended up in the ditch in the few years you have been driving is only a statement of luck. Not skill. Driving 75 on snow packed mountain roads towing a trailer is foolish and reckless. And you are putting others at risk. 4X4 high, WOW how unique. Does it have 4X4 stop on ice high too?

"CDOT does a great job" Now thats some funny chit right there.

Wow, 4 hours from Ft Collins to So Fork ??

It's 3 hrs just from FTC to Buena Vista (if South Park isn't icy ..), then you have Salida, Poncha Pass, Gunbarrel, Alamosa .. more like 6-8 hours.

Take I25 down to Walsenburg then west.

What's real funny about this, Mr. rx1tonguy obviously hasn't been riding where he claims to be from... They haven't plowed our parking lot out after 2 huge storms this year then had the odacity to tell us if we parked on the side of the road, we would be towed!!! It's kind of hard to park, let alone drive through 5 feet of new snow!(I'm sure he could though.....at 75 mph!) Hahaha, way to go CDOT!

Bragging rights? i am proud of my truck and sled. i work to pay for those. my parents purchased my brother and myself snowmobiles and any aftermarket work is paid for by us if we want it done. I think its quite an accomplishment to pay for my truck when i am only 20 years old.

Its a signature. No need to get your panties in a huge wad over it

Of course i havent ridden where i claim to be from  wtf does that mean. The willow park parking lot is plowed perfectly, trail is groomed. i was just up there saturday before the bearing on the jackshaft of my supercharger went out which was a result of a previous problem i had.

I ride on the pagosa side of wolf creek. Down the pass just a couple miles. I dont enjoy riding at the top of the pass. I dont enjoy riding tucker ponds either. Just because they didnt plow the parking lot for your glorious M1000 doesnt mean there arent other parking lots plowed nicely.

Snowest is full of so many people who cant let something simple go.

Boondock i take 285 south from denver, not I25. I25 is almost an hour longer of a drive.

Just fyi..... willow park parking lot isn't plowed by your heroes at cdot. Our local snowmobile club, which I am a member of, does that. I'm glad you enjoy that area and I know they do a good job of grooming those trails. Enjoy the snow! Lack luster funding has caused a lot of new drivers on wc and our lots along the pass are not important to them, even when there are 4 or 5 days of no snow. The club is plowing them also when they get a chance, which is usually a couple days after a storm.

So now you're doing 75mph on 285 towing a trailer on snow packed roads.
I think your panties are on just a little too tight.
What are you studying at school? Creative writing?
Did you used to ride a 550 fan sno-panther?

Travel times seem to differ but one thing is for sure. Everyone seems to be able to go from 0 to pizzy in nothing flat:D

Denver to the Ear, 3 or so. To the Snowies, a little more. Vail pass & Flat Tops depends on the # of high end luxury cars w/ski racks checking their stock prices while the mrs applies makeup and kids try to whine above their Ipods.

Coffee & a chew on the way up. Beer & a chew on the way down. It's all relative. Bluebird & pow-pow:)
