M M.M. 700 Free Member Nov 7, 2008 #4 I have wet sanded with 1000 grit. Then wet sand with 2000 grit. Use Never Dull, and then Mothers.

H Himark Free Member Nov 7, 2008 #6 sand them out. I have taken curb rash out of a aluminum wheel on a superduty with 80 grit then worked all the way back up to 3000 and buff. Would not reccomend that for a sled..you may go through the material if scratch was that deep.
