how do you remove your electric start and still have spark??

i have a 2006 summit X 800 and i took the electric start off and now i dont have spark. is there something that i need to plug in or change around?? please help, thanks

yep, there is a jumper harrness that needs to be removed and stock harness poeice reinstalled if I remember right..wont run until its done...

Thats correct, its around $60 at the dealer if I remember correctly. However if you have some patience you can rework that ES harness to be the same as a non ES harness. I did this but it took me quite a while, and I had a non-ES harness to compare it to.
