How do you know if the dash indicators work????

On my 2000 RMK 700, im very skeptical of my dash indicators like for highbeam/hi engine temp/brake/etc. I know my high beam and my brake works, but im not sure if the engine overheating indicator works at all. When i broke off my ice scratchers, i was positive it was overheating, and before i shut it off, the indicator never came on.

How can i make sure all the indicator lights work???

Put power to them with a jumper wire. The lights working is only part of the problem the sensors need to work correctly to trip the lights.

the first thing to check is to make sure the bulbs arent burnt out had that problem on our 05, if they are still good you can use a power tester or volt meter and test the wires
