DOGMEAT aren't you working the PATCH??? I call BS on you being broke If I was single I would be in Wyoming working the PATCH!!!!
OH ya wear a helmet!!
Buy a carwash/detail business. My neighbor has one. That bastard goes skiing everytime it snows cuz his business is closed. Not me I lock in the hubs and venture to work and dream on.
If I could go back to 20, I would definitely buy more real estate at an earlier age. Didn't buy my first house until I was 30...I was renting and bought a rental. Best move I ever made. Doubled my money in 5years and bought more real estate...leveraged equity and bought more...etc...etc...
Second best move was reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. Its not a get rich quick book, it's about how to think about money and investing. Example...if you have $20k cash to spend on a sled, DONT DO IT. Invest the money and spend the return on the sled. May take a little longer, but you will always have that $20k earning you a return, doubling every 7-8 years.
Like others have said...education, hard work, find something you love to do.....and condom till you're 35!! lol
modsledr
i work 2 jobs make good money & iam single thats the big one only have me to make happy.
I would never discourage anyone from getting a good education. However, IMHO the secret is to never ever work for W2 wages unless you are getting them from your own corporation. I would venture to guess that most guys with over $20K into there sleds under the age of 45 are successful business owners.
So I am curious, would you still recommend the above if you were starting today? Kind of easy to say you should have bought more real estate as the western Washington area has been booming for the last 10 years or more. But if you were starting out now, would you still buy more real estate?
