How do I get the helix and spring out? 08 XP 800

I need to change the spring on my secondary on an 08 XP Summit 800. Do I need any special tools? I know the secondary is pressed onto the jackshaft but there has to be a way to swap the spring and helix.

Have the dealer do it the first time. Then have the torque screws changed to hex head bolts. After that you can do it yourself. My $.02

I've got step by step instructions I scanned out of the Doo tech update book which is pretty decent. PM me your email addy and I'll forward you a copy in the am :)

Loosen the chain, remove the top gear, remove the one nut holding the plate on the bearing behind the secondary. Heat the material around the bearing just a little and tap out the clutch/jackshaft assembly. Takes about 10 minutes. A spring compression tool for the QRS is the safest and easiest way to then remove the helix but 2 guys can do it, just be careful....the spring is under alot of tension.
