how do I adjust fuel pressure reg. at idle or what

mine idles at 52 psi and when i throttle er up she goes to 42..and stays steady there..i notice fuel spraying above fuel pump in tank..thats not normal is it.??.there is no return line unless the pump has a relief/bypass..??..i cant see the feed line leaking otherwise i shouldn't maintain 52 psi at idle ..someone familiar with this possible problem..??

Check it at 1800-2000 RPM. It will fluctuate according to load and also will slightly change due to altitude.
Most of the mods and such are set up using the stock 43-45psi setting. Remember if you raise or lower pressure you will affect the entire map from low to high as far as fuel.
