How big of a tree will you run over?

I posted this in mountain riding section, but figured the people from Utah would understand, we've got the best snow on earth, and maybe the best trees as well...

I've been accused of being mean to trees when I sled because the little ones take a beating. I tell people, "you should see me when I ski!"

First off, i feel sorry for the dudes in the video. Thats just silly.

As far as thickness goes, you never know until you've tried. Sometimes you win and sometimes the tree does.

We should consult an expert on this. Paging Mr. Hatchers....

My guage has always been, "If it's smaller than your wrist, you can run it over" Occasionally I'll hit bigger ones.

I have hit a few thigh size ones that won the argument tho.

Depends if you have a TCP front bumper or not! I always do so I figure I have a great chance of winning when they are 6-8" diameter or smaller.

This vid is from a few years ago. Had the TCP bumper so no major damage cept my ego. I had 2 choices seeings how I was last of 5 to drop off the ledge....that F'ing tree or an 8' deep hole the DB's in front of me created trying to miss my tree

Are these trees too big? Oh wait yes they were to big. I didnt make it through them. Its never a good idea to jump off a road into a grove of trees.

I'm with you. However trees tend to jump out of no where when I ride.
