How bad is it getting up top of Gold Creek??

The main trail was a mess. :face-icon-small-dis But once we could get to some open country it was on. Fun day!!! Even my wife was getting some air today!! It's amazing what a new machine can do for a persons riding abilities!!

It was awesome oh my G&d, rode with Brent, Jason and an Arron. Got to lauch off Yammadoggy doo jump. No pics of your flights, I heard it was like 60 feet or more. We hit so many places up there I was getting dizzy, the drop into Superbowl was fun, and through the trees and trees, good day thanks guys it rocked as always. Whoohooooooo

trail smooth as butter... LOL!!!!

Karen, Steve, Jason and Aaron- Goodtimes folks... nice soft snow, what a treat for late April!! For not riding my own sled I had a blast and I think the GFs sled is fully broke in now....:D I haven't jumped that many times in a while, plenty of untracked snow too...

The trail- silky smooth.... Like a AMA super cross rythem section....:face-icon-small-win

Was the jump in good condition when you left? Patched up PowderHeads ruts?;)

I missed the whole day, Moon had something come up and I was still too sore from the day before. Hope to make it out in the sun this week.....:beer;

No ruts, it was still in good shape. We found out you need a spotter, easily could land on someone coming up the hill. It's kind of freaky on being able to see where your landing. Good stuff.

The jump was in good shape, but like powderhead said - make sure you have a spotter. I figured that with jumpers coming off every 15 seconds that the people around us had a good idea to stay out of the landing zone. WRONG!!! I came off the jump and was within 6' of landing on someone hillclimbing right beneath the jump. Stupid on my part for not requesting a spotter... live and learn!

I noticed that a bit, so I'm thinking of some other locations with a similar landing angle that won't be so busy. It's a great spot to go from going slow to almost as big as you dare.

Probably best not to jump if other people are around. It is a nice spot though. The course is going to be pretty fun. Maybe we should have races? Got orange cones? Kind of an on mountain snocross.
