How are the 2010 Seats working out so far?

Maybe I will do a blind taste test between the 09 Boss seat and the 2010 Cat seat? I bet neither one tastes very well though.
why would you ditch your boss for one of these? they are ugly! they hold water! they are heavier! i wouldn't change if i were you.
I have a boss on my 09 and i rode a 10 m8 for a little bit and the ride of the seat seemed the same to me. Since my seat is lighter and doesn't retain nearly as much water, i'm def not gonna switch

who says they hold water, Did Al Gore tell you that, I have seen no proof of that, I had a 09 Boss, it was falling apart, it was flimsy, it had junk zippers, it was sold as soon as I got my 2010 seat
I knew this was coming. Hence the 
I don't dislike my Boss seat. I did notice the seat moving a little yesterday and the front right snap seems lose some how. The vent on one of my Mountain Addiction cans somehow popped open and gas seeped into the storage area of my Boss seat and the gas ate the glue holding on the velcro for the rear portion of the seat. What a mess. I still can't get the gas smell out of the stuff that was in there. It's fixed now. So far so good with the Zippers. The seat is still prtty stiff but, it's ok.
What I'd really like to do, is mount up a 2010 seat and ride one for the weekend to see how it suits my style of riding compared to my Boss seat.

I had no problem getting one but they were not available until Jan 14th a few weeks ago. Here is a pic, not so great of a shot...
if you like the Boss seat you will like the Cat seat, smiler height and width so I don't see how it couldn't fit your riding style, I really couldn't tell the difference except the Cat seat is mounted better, doesn't fill like its going to fall off, and the Cat seat and storage area is waterproof so far, my Boss was not waterproof

back when i swapped the seats.....boss to the 2010 cat
boss was 5 lbs
2010 cat was 9 lbs
ya a 4 lbs difference is a pretty large amount, but well worth it when you consider how much of an upgrade the 2010 is.plus w/ all the extra storage, that is just taking pound of tools, ect. out of my back pack and onto the sled
so its a bit easier on my body at the end of the day.

Works great! wasn't a fan of the inverted angle at first, but being 6' tall and wearing size 12 boots my foot doesn't get hung up on the seat. Storage seems to be dry all the time, if you unzip after riding the moisture will evaporate if any happens to get in there. I loved the height of the 09 boss/cat seats but the stupid storage area would always get smashed by my boot, so I would have to open it up (while hoping not to break one of the cheap zippers) and pop it out again, I loved the weight of the boss too, but every boss seat I have seen with use on it the snaps are missing. Cat's seat is great! Just my opinion.

The following is some new information about the newest version of the 2010 seat from what I understand. Dealer just received it, anyway, the reason for the BO for so long is cat had to switch seat manufacturers.
Here's the best part, the seat has a couple new features that shows they were listening:
- a cordura type paneling on the sides
- a gripper top
- embossed cat imprint in material rather than a white cat
Should have it next friday so I'll let you know when I get it...... and same price too

Looks like the first BNG small tweak leak of what's to come on 2011s to me. Not buying the manufacturer story...
