Anyone run one of these?

Seems like it might be less of a hassle than having to prep and carry food for the Muffpot. Some hot Chunky Beef or Spaghetti O's would be great at 10,000'.

East to just grab a can and run.
Just guessing cook time would take longer due to the liquid content. Wondering if you'd have to poke a vent hole in the top of the can prior to cooking to prevent pressure build up?

Could be messy.

Just wondering if anyone has tried one.

I think longevity of the equipment would be quite low. The mounting area where the clamp attaches the bracket to the exhaust is very small and would likely fatigue out and break. I hire some cat-skinners that have placed cans of soup on the hot manifold of a dozer but they only get so hot.

I think I'll pass.

I thought that looked a little week as well. I was envisioning a can a Spaghetti O's wedged in a belt drive.

For starters you would want a can that doesn't require a can opener. I'm with VB. I'll pass.

Prepping food for my muff pot usually involves wrapping last nights left overs in parchment paper.

I'll take that over canned anything.

Nice idea for mom riding som groomers maybe, but to me that thing screams a 1lb can bouncing around the engine compartment and fried raviolis on the exhaust!
I've broke/rattled apart a few cookers with less weight in them and better attachment methods.
Nice warm can of spagettios would be good but I'll stick with hot pockets, jimmy dean sandwiches and little White Castle burgers in the hot dogger.
