Hot Dogger Mount

If you're mounting it to the pipe just past the Y about 6" dia. Get 2 and crank the piss out of them.
This is the best spot IMO. Not too hard to get to you can get your hand in there from the side and cooks food fast. Well under an hr to crisp up a cpl frozen hot pockets if you're riding hard.

get ahold of woodsrider on here he has the best mount bar none and the price is great

I gotta try mounting on the Y-pipe......mounting near the can doesn't cook nearly fast enough.....at least half the day!

Woodsrider's kit is for MUFFPOTT not HOTDOGGERs. I have the kit with Muffpot on my SBA and it works good in the mountains but does take hours. I didn't work on the trails, I guess too much speed (air under hood) and not enough throttle.

Wonder if that will work with my SLP pipe/can combo? The Can on that thing is HUGE!

I riveted the mounting base of my Hot Pot to the top of the SLP can on my '11 Pro. Had to flatten the ears on the mounting base first.

It works good..........A little too good if the machine is working hard! LOL

Well, I hooked up my muffpot on the pipe below the wye, after building quick release pins for my hood. Then I put the hotdogger on the can with 2 hoseclamps about 8 inches long. Run one clamp up the back spring loop, through the dogger mount. Put a master link on the front spring loop, I used a #60, screw the front clamp to the rear clamp, just under the dogger, loop it through the master link, double it back and rivet it, cut off excess and cinch down. Simple, cheap, removable, strong.
