Horse meat, not for me!

Got a chance to eat horse the other night. It might have been ok if i didn't know i was eating Mr. Ed. It was raw and really squishy.

My cousin would host an annual wild game barbecue at his ranch and there was always horse included in the many great creations. It was always done over an open fire and I found it quite good, once you got past the Mr Ed thing. Sounds like your chef may just need to prepare it a little differently, I'm not much for raw anything. My cousin marinated big roasts then wrapped them in tin foil and slow roasted them over the fire till they were tender.
