Horns

I see that the lodge owner reported twelve inches of snow on that website- --that is a bald faced lie- maybe 5 inches on April 6th- I was there- once again a lodge owner inflates the numbers

Go look at the snow sites on the internet- NOT ONE location on the north recieved 12 inches on the 5 or 6th.

The owner is greedy- STAY AWAY

You should be ashamed!!!

What lodge owner are you talking about?

reguardless

that 6 in was on top of 2.5 feet. it was good enough to cover all the fresh tracks from that storm. always neat to make your own trail isnt it. i really like how most have put their sleds away! more for us right

If he's talking about BearLodge, he needs to read the web site again.
There not claiming 12" inches off new powder.
They are claiming 6" with a foot of powder on the trail after all the dumps.

Rick's Snow Condition 1 to 10 Rating Scale
The past two weeks we have had over 2 to 3 feet of new snow. This new snow has definitely extended our season. Grooming was completed as of April 5, 2010. Although funds are available we were denyed any further grooming activity. You can still ride out from any of the Lodges at this time. Snow depths vary from 24" up to 100" of coverage depending where you go. It is snowing as I write this report, and 7 to 10 inches is expected. Riders this past weekend were extremely happy with the riding they have been able to do. They say some of the best riding they have experienced all year.

On my 1 to 10 scale, 10 being best here's the following:

Groomed Trails 9 & 10 Smooth with 12 new inches of powder

I just reread his notes-Why the heck should they give him more money in his own words the trails are perfect?????

Besides you cant groom spring snow- everyone knows this- that would be a wasnt of money-- Well maybe not everyone know this?

We Just got back From there Also, We had a Great time!!! Riding was Fun, DEEP Snow in the trees and some hills that we found, One place we got stuck Deep, just for fun we stuck the Probe down to see how deep it was below us, 10 feet.:face-icon-small-hap There was some guys that were there from the weekend before and they said all the way up til tuesday it was powder over the hoods.

Right we found plenty of deep snow. Sometimes too deep. We got our sleds stuck numerous of times. Had a great time.

I'm heading out from WI in the morning. Staying at Bear more than likely. Looks like there is another storm gonna roll through on Tuesday/nite. Hopefully we luck out and get dumped on.

I guess your Democrat. Did you also see he's claiming it only snowed on the groomed trails.

Wednesday; April 7, 2010 ~ Temperature at 5 a.m. 16F. Approximately SIX (6") new inches of snow on the ground this morning with light / fine snow in the air.
Most recent significant new snow fall at the Lodges ~ approximately TWENTY FOUR PLUS ( 24"+ ) INCHES Thursday April 1 & Friday April 2.

On my 1 to 10 scale, 10 being best here's the following:

Groomed Trails 9 & 10 Smooth with 12 new inches of powder

Ungroomed Trails 8 & 9 Much better with new snow

Case and point- they are NOT being honest- the snow only fell on the groomed trails- get real-

Your right- lodge owners lie about the snow-specially that guy now that he owns 3 of 5 lodges.

He should be ashamed of himself for misleading everyone-

I remember a post last year where they wouldnt refund someones deposit because the snow was bad-- It wasnt the persons fault-and it wasnt the lodges fault- it happens and move on

Disgusting- Greed-

safesowrider, your a low life tool. I guess Rick did not kiss your azz just right.
If you want to b*tch about him, just b*tch.
Do not make up stuff that can be checked out, just because you can not comprehend English.

I guess he must have kissed yours - so who is the real tool here??? and I do mean tool- so why the insult?? cant u handle the truth??
it is a -real story on the refund- do a search = I comprendo just fine-it wasnt I- that said it snowed only in the groomed trails- that was you-

The truth is - the lodges are not being honest with their reports

So is it -Do not make up stuff that can be checked out---- or is it--- Do not make up stuff that can not be checked out ????? I was having a difficult time reading your grammar>

As I said above do a search on the refund- or better yet ask the lodge owner- ;) ---stuff that can be checked out

Does this place have a SnoTel site nearby?

I went to a waterski resort one time in Acapulco and it rained and the wind blew. Conditions sucked...I was pissed. It was the resort owners fault. I'll never go back to that guy's place.
