Horizontal lines in Toshiba 57H82 bigscreen TV

Anyone own a Toshiba like this? It is a 57 inch and I am getting horizontal lines in the picture. The lines will start at the top and then go through the whole picture...then it will clear up and do it again. I am hoping to just buy the part I need and slap it in. Could it be the picture tube?

A friend of mine has the same problem with a Toshiba. 3 lines last time I was at her house. Like watching tv in jail.

Its a CRT unit. Those lines come from the projection scanning. On the Toshiba, try adjusting the Dfine speed and see if this changes the picture. It may just speed up the scanning lines. You may want to look at a DLP or LCD projection sceen. I deal Samsung and have never had a problem with them.

Another thought is this happening on all inputs? Are you going through an amp? Check your input cables, and eliminate some other components.
