Just got my first mountain sled and would like to get out west more than once this winter. Wondering if anyone from MN or surrounding area is heading out there with some extra room. My friend and I both got xp's this year and can't wait to rip them. Unfortunately a few members of our group aren't goin out there this year and I don't want to go with just us two. If you have spare room for two guys and two sleds, let me know what you're groups plans are, will help fund fuel and lodging ofcourse! Just thought I'd throw this out there. thanks!

Gonna be leaving my gear in Denver (Truck, trailer, and sleds). Only a 2.5 hr drive to snowies from there. I'm gonna try to go again after New Years. You should start another thread in Riding Areas/minnesota to wrangle some Minnesota boys together for a ride.. We flatlanders tend to band together..
Im from SW Mn are have motel and two homes in Ten Sleep Wy. Would love to have you come out here. You can go to the Wy part on this site and find out more info. My sleds live out here so i go back and forth in a van or pickup pulling no trailer. Been here for three weeks go back to Mn next week then back out after the first. The house at the motel will be ready for people the first of feb. We do have rooms for rent also. Pull in and drive out trailer parking . Half block from good food and beer no driving after a few or to many beers!

I have 1 or 2 spots open on the trailer for a trip to the big horns and togwotee leaving at 10 PM on February 1 and returning on the 8th. Would be leaving from south central MN (just west of I-90/I-35 junction).

Alright, I have to post this report for the snowies eventhough it is a week late ( I've been plowing and trucking snow since sunday ) We stayed at Albany Lodge (great place to stay by the way) The trails are in great shape. Off trail riding gets better the farther north you go. We found the best snow west and north of the high peaks. There are some land mines but just have your wits about ya and you'll be fine. I think by now it is game on for most of the range. Had to drive my stuff home cause of the damn snowstorm in the cities. Lookin to get out again after new years Y'all! This is a can't miss year.
