There are probably many options out there. I personally used the hood strap kit from Slp. I think it was $18 for both straps and hardware.
As for cutting the hood I used a air cutting tool. You know kinda like a grinder with a very thin cutting disk. The high speed made it nice to cut. Use some masking tape to make sure you get straight lines.
Grab your wallet and your nuts and cut like hell! (LOL!!)
Just kidding its not so bad just take your time it'll turn out sweet!!

Works absolutely awesome. If you buy one, you will find all kinds of uses for it on your sled. I just used mine to install vents on my XP....
