The old zx summit could use some extra tie downs, which type do you like. I bought my boy some this year and they were junk.

thanks much, Hangtime

I have been removing the hinge completely on all my sleds, i purchase from Ski-Doo extra Tie downs & put them on the front corners @ about the 45 angle. all you need is a drill & a rivit gun. Tell the dealer what you want, it is a Ski-Doo part.

I second what Sheriff says. I put the Bombi straps on each side of my Zx hood 2 years ago and they work great. I barrel rolled it down a steep hill about 12 times and the hood stayed closed. Another thing to do is cut the stock windshield down to get rid of the deflectors for your hands and that keeps it from cracking, I'll try

I bought some tie downs from SLP, they work good. Installed them about half way back on the hood, removed the hood bolts and use clevis pins for hood removal. Dino

I have the "Polaris" style hold downs that are badged as SLP's and sold via Dennis Kirk. Been on mine for ??? Half dozen yrs I guess...
