Hood repair?

I htink the stuff ou're gininking of is "E-6000".

Good for tracks, don't know if i'd sturst it wihh hooood reapair.

the zip ties with stuff called "shoe-goo" to keep the plastic and zipties stuck together works great, my friend tried to rivet some 1/4" aluminum to the sled to stick it back together, but the vibration kept busting rivets, and then zip ties, but the shoe goo on the zipties keeps it tight, doesnt look bad, and has held up roll after roll.

this is the one that Ski-Dooin' it is talking about i got two seasons in this and have not hade a problem. shoo goo is the ****!!!

To make a real strong repair use 4040 duramix. dont use the mesh on the back side.First fuse the crack together on the front side with a hot flat blade soider iron in a coupel spots to hold it as one. On the back side V the crack a bit and sand the area with 150 sandpaper. Then find some material the same as the hood is. I use old car rubber bumer covers. Make a patch to cover the crack about 4" wide on a crack is good. Sand the back of the patch then glue the patch over the crack on the inside of the hood with 4040 duramix. On the front side of the hood if dont want to paint the hood.Hold the crack together with tin tape to do the repair. I have fixed a pile of hoods this way and never had on break yet.I also own a bodyshop and have been fixing cars for 22 years now. Good Luck
