Hood doesn't like to open

Does anybody have any ideas to keep the snow out of the nose of these M's. I put frog skins on at the beginning of the year, but on the first ride I still noticed a snow and ice build up in the front by the hood hinges. I know somebody has to have a fix for this crappy design flaw. thanks in advance

hey

I siliconed all the cracks in bumper, and run weather stripping on the hood to bumper ones. Theres alot of little holes for snow to sneak in up there. I tape them up before I ride.

Remove airbox, silicone every crack and seam. I've used just under a full tube per sled. Same every time.

Remove hood from sled. Install some foam tape on the front- right at the most front part of the bottom of the hood. When the hood shuts, it makes a seal with the front hull.

Yeah there is a lot of spots for snow to get into. I siliconed everything already. The big problem area is the gap between the very tip of the hood and the gap on the bumper. Once that fills up with snow, ur screwed. I think I will try the tape trick. I work for 3M so I have an endless amount of tape here. Or, I was thinking of riveting some heavy black rubber on the bumper side and making it cover the gap. I don't know but something has got to be done with it.
