I would like to hear from anyone who has made the transition recently (Im coming from M1000 with goodies) my main concerns are handling(especially when theres not three feet of powder) and is it too much machine? anyone make the transition and go back because the apex made them peeee a little in their pants?

I like that one " because the apex made them peeee a little in their pants? "
They do run at other throttle positions than WOT but man they pull and pull and pull.... As well as you when your stuck but its worth it.

I would say there will be lots of wrecks this year with guys and their turbo'd sleds cause yah they haul and there is alot on the snow now with people going where they shouldnt.

Ok why dont you go ride a stock nytro and a stock apex in a few different condtions, then come back and tell me its not much heavyier. There is a big difference in handling.

too much?

I had both, m1000 and apex, then did the turbo. I liked the apex more than the cat "stock" more predictable no boggin, less clutch heat, but the cat would out run it for sure. put the turbo on and sold the cat, it does take some getting used to and learning to not pin it all the time. the first couple rides i was intimidated, kinda gave me the feeling of dropping a big steep hill in the spring, only when your going up. really fast! basically if you want more than the 1000 ,dont we all, go for it you wont be disapointed. julio

i rode both last year in spring type snow and prefered the apex it handled better in the spring snow but the nytro handled great in bottom less power. (just my 2 cents)

Of course i have, and there are reasons to why there are several diffrent sled types, personally i highly prefer Apex, and i believe that's because i fell in love with it right from the start, and the Nytro felt awkward for me when i tried it, especially boondocking, and by that i don't say Nytro is bad, only that it didn't suit me.
And Apex MTX have better floatation in bottomless snow, anyway here in Sweden, stock vs stock, turbo vs turbo.

I spent 2 months on a T-Nytro. Never could get comfortable with the steering or the rider forward feel. It was almost like riding an XP with HP. I went back to Apex.

I think for alot of people its to much machine, to bad none of them will admit it though!

i am an advanced rider, but maybe it is to much machine, or im not heavy enough, just allways felt that it kinda has a mind of its own. but like stated thats why there's more then one machine to chose from different strokes for different fokes

I've had a Turbo Apex and Now a Turbo Nytro. I prefer the Nytro. It fits my riding style better but i know others who prefer the apex. If you want BIG BIG HP than the apex will be a better platform.

Yes i'll admit it. Both sleds were way to much for me.

I can't wait to have the same problem you have! JJ.
I haven't rode a boosted sled but I am highly involved in sportbikes, muscle cars, jetboats, horsepower in general.
It will be a good winter on the boost!

For some Ya !! But i'd rather be gaining speed to the top instead of having to turn out with all the other trenchs up there !!!! To me extra power is comforting. And you don't have to use all the power either.
