has anyone used mufflers off of something else and put it on the apex? i am rebuilding my sled after a tree hit it last year out west and i got a spg seat and fab craft tunnel so i have to make an exhaust. what i am thinking is a yzf 450 can on top of the tunnel. do you think this will have much back pressure? anyone else ever do something similar? ill post vids and pics after im done. any other suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

I have a yoshimura RS-5 carbon for a muffler, you can use anything really just find one where you can live with the noise. Tunnel dumps with just a glasspack are not suitable for the trail not only will the anti-sled people hate so will you. Once in the deep stuff it will quiet them down a titch.
