Homemade sled seat ??

was looking to experiment a lil on an extra seat ...but my question is...has anyone take a stock factory seat and cut shaped the foam to a new seat design then recovered? if so any tips?

I have long legs so I add four inches of foam to my seat and then recover it. Works great. I've done 4 seats on different sleds.

I did this a couple years ago.
I sold the sled this summer.

I added 4 inches to the factory foam on my 02' Summit and had it recovered. Works great.
