I made these for a grand total of about $40 in parts. They work great!
Consists of 1-2x10 board, a few pieces of 2x3, and 12-2" swivel casters, all purchased at Lowes.

I made a couple sets of roller just like yours. They work REALLY slick.

The only problem I had is that of the 4 ski rollers I made, 3 of the 2x10's split. When I rebuilt them I just put 5/8" plywood on top of the 2x10 and I haven't had a problem since. *Please note, I was using them on an Apex.

Thanks for sharing!

$40? you can get snowmobile dollies for $35 at the shopper (i didnt buy it cuz i already made dollies like you did)

Yeah I checked around on here before I made these. A lot of people said the cheap dollies were crap and their sleds kept falling off anytime they'd try to move it. So, I just built my own...knowing that whatever I made would be about a $100 value if I paid for the same quality. Plus I like to make my own stuff.....it makes my wife think I'm really smart and talented.;):D

Heres the link I referred to: http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=167373

i use the Harbor Frieght dollies too...they work perfectly. Got em on sale for $8.99 too .....woo hoo!! :)

Harbor frieght here to $8.99 cant go wrong. I nailed a upright 2x4 to the rear one for the track to sit on. They work awsome.

I agree with the Harbor Freight dollies. I think that is the way to go.

Holy cow, that is the Mad Max version of dollies!

I like steer-able, made these from stuff I already had.

I'm at work and for some reason not all of the pictures people post of their stuff will come up on the computer here (so I'll have to see all the ones on here at home), but I like the idea of the roller blade wheels. I've got some cheap ones that work great until I hit one of the many cracks in my driveway and garage, then they just stop and the skis come off. Are the roller blade wheels big enough diameter to go over cracks or do you have the same problem?

I agree with the Harbor Freight users.

I have a whole stack of the $9.99 Harbor Freight furniture dollies in my garage...enough to roll all three long track sleds around anywhere, anytime.
