Decided to not wait for the cat belt guard. Was pretty easy have a few things to finish but should work better than the junk stock guard.

Belt guard

Just put on one from Belanger racing, sweet set up. Can easily change a belt without removing guard and she'll hold together next time I shred a belt. $140 shipped and a 15 min install

I agree looks like a nice guard. That was definately my inspiration. It only cost me about $15 in material though and a little time but I enjoy doing it though.

Right, looks good. Cat could have done something similar, mine had been through the mill. Going to mount a 4" fan on it and see if it helps cool things a little more.

Finished up the belt guard. Ported it a lot and plan to run a vent on the side panel just above the porting. The porting does not go over where the belt is so if a belt would grenade it will not destroy the belt guard. Also can put the belt on easily with much more clearance.
