Home made intake for M1000; thanks Hardass

I did see that Hardass on snowest did this intake with his M1000. While out west this past weekend after continual problem with a back shift and bogging when hard on throttle, back off than hard back on I always got a slow response from motor. The intake I use is the stock 4 inch with no plenum, basically just a pre-filter material on opening. The hood is well vented and the previous owner said he never had issue. For the hell of it while in Laramie WY I went to Walmart and bought 5' of 4 inch dryer vent hose. I have seen post where hardass did the same on his M1000. Took about 5 minutes to hook up with zip ties. What a difference, I could get on and off throttle and not lose any momentum.
