As the title says. Has anyone built there own or tried yet ? Have a had the strong urge to build my own lately. Haven't seen any posts yet, not like the old carb dyi kits anyway

farm build turbo

It can be done. You will obviously need a fuel controller. There are also a few tricks to keeping the ecm happy with rave valve position, and things of that nature, that you would need to overcome.

It would certainly be less of a headache to go with a kit.

There are a few used kits out there as well.

let us know if you tackle it.

I'd like to try it someday. Would like to try a TSS style pipe mount into a muffler that actually works.

If you're happy with your Ptek, could just go with a new one of those.

Call us at turbo performance we Wil help you.
Sure we would like you to buy our kits. but some guys just like doing different. We can help.

Thanks for offering to do something deferent Brycter! I'll for sure consider it.

Have read that people like how you're doing the injectors.

What are you using for a fuel controller?

right now we have stayed with the doebeck box. Had great results. have been working very hard on alternitives but i have not found a product that carries its value in what we are delivering yet. there are controllers that are 1000-2000 but all they are doing right now is running a set of secondary injectors and that is the same as everyone else. so imo no need to waste the extra money yet.

Us guys at turbo performance have always had the DYT additude.
We have a picking list for our DYT Systems.
DYT = "DO IT TOGHETHER" give us a call and we will hook you up.

Thanks for the offer, may make parts hunting a little easier. Looked at a few pics on your site, appears that you have a barrel style inter cooler under the light. Are your systems systems intercooled?
