???Holz rear suspension?

i have a 07 rev 800r 151 with a fth up suspension, and i just got some new rails from Ice Age to run 8in wheels,so i was thinkin instead of replacing some of the stock parts or i mean most of the parts:eek:i might throw in a couple more hundred dollars and get me Holz suspension,so who out there has one on a rev and do you like it,love it,or hate it:confused:does it bring the back end up at all, hows it do on climbs????

My brother has it on his 2005 Rev (same basic setup as you). I've ridden it several times and also have a Holz on my D7. It is totally worth it to bump up to a Holz. Right now he has a great deal on them with the Zero Pro's. They are very adjustable and allow you to dump the crappy torsion springs. You do have to use the stock rails though. Hopefully the rails you got will work. You have to drill a couple holes anyway.

The Holz is awesome for taking hits (I bumped my Zero Pro's all the way up for that). Then you can bring them back down and have some adjustment for the fluff. I don't think you will be disappointed. Just make sure you have someone there to help with the install. The skid can be a biotch.

A ratchet strap pulling the top of the rear arm to the bottom of the front arm makes the job much much easier. Or at least that was how my KMOD was which is very similar to the Holz.

Hope this helps.

hey thanks guys appreciate it, after i recieved my rails from ice age that i realized that i could have had them set up for the Holz, oh well hopefully its not to many holes i got to drill.
