Holz rear skid on 06 M7

Anyone have an aftermarket holz skid on an m7? my sled does but I am wondering if the relocation brackets are still recommended? track seems awfully loose yet.

The relocation brackets are made to lift the front arm up further on the skid rails so it doesnt egg the holes out in the tunnel. The skid compresses and tightens the track without them, making the front arm want to push forward. It has nothing to do with how tight the track is when the suspension isn't compressed.. Post a pic of your skid, its easy to tell if you have them or not..

looking lastnight it seems as if the bolt in the back arm is oblonging the hole out in the rail. there is more play there than usual

I did notice it has the HRP bracket to move the front arm up higher. now im just concerned about the rear arm in the rail

there are no relocation brackets for the rear arm. They were only made for the front. Tighten the bolt up in the rear arm and ride it. If its not completely egged out, you will be fine.

If you PM me your email address I still have a PDF copy of the install instructions for the Holz kit on a M7. Long story short they do ask for the front torque arm bracket to be installed.
