Holz front end on IQ race chassis

I have seen some IQ race chassis with the Holz front end on them. Is this pretty much a bolt on setup? How does it change the steering effort? The stock racer setup doesn't really steer heavy, but it feels like it trys to take the handle bars away from a guy once in a while. Just wondering how they handled with them on.

I am also wondering if there is alot of weight difference between the Holz front end and the race a-arms and spindles. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks, Jesse.

HUGE difference in weight from the IQR to the RMK front suspensions.

The RMK will be much more trail friendly.

Mark can put whatever he wants on his IQR moutain mods and that is his setup.

No sway bar though, you will have to run a top notch set of shocks to get it to work well.. Floats work well IF you run the HOLZ "evol style" add on air chambers on them or even the Ryde FX with a bit stiffer valve stack and tripple rate springs. OR ARS-FX or Zero-Pro's....The full-blown Evols are not necessary.

You will need good skis.

Mark Holz told me that it is a bolt on and go setup... he can supply the correct length tie rods for your application as part of the kit.
