Holz Console Vent heads up.

Remove the console when installing the Holz console vent unless you want to cut the gas tank vent hose or fitting off. It has basically zero clearance between it and and the console. We got lucky by chance but wanted to make sure others didn't make a mistake and make more work for themselves.

No need to remove, especially if you know what's under there....just be careful. Nothing can get in the engine, no worries

What did you use to cut the plastic console?

Drill the corners and cut the straights with a muffler cutter. Clean it up with deburring tool.

Yup! Utility knife works great. I didn't think about using a hook blade. Works great on shingles!
