I left for the snow show this morning and I-25 was closed. Took me over 2 hours to get there, passed close to a dozen wrecks. Saw a trailblazer with the left side peeled off, awesome seeing the driver's seat. What really shocked me was hearing that Southbound I-25 in the springs was closed this morning for a 60, yes, SIXTY car pileup! WOW!

We must have seen thirty cars jacked up on the way to the show! Funny, the wife was clawing holes in the dash.... But it was still funny!

Glad i drove down to Denver last night, only had to drive from I70/Colorado to the show, still pretty scary drive in black ice.

It took us 3.5 hrs to get from the Springs to the show... Talk about rediculous.... They had you go way out in BFE for the detour.... Guess it was better then sitting still waiting....

7.5 hrs to get back to Crested Butte last night.

About 4 of those hours were between Denver & Cayon City.

Total driving nightmare - had memories of the I-70 commute to Vail Pass!

MD.

Glad you made it home ok Doo. I decided to stay the night and came back this morning. Eb got his new M8!

Yea; wasn't too bad in town, bridges were a little icy.

Too bad people forget how to drive over the summer.

I decided to leave around 10 or so. Got there around 12:30 ish.

Glad everyone made it home ok. That could have been bad. 20 ish weather stuck on the side of the road? Not a good mix.

Tried to make it over buff pass yesterday around noon towing unloaded open 2 place. Not a great idea without chains. It started to come down pretty hard and we had to turn around after getting stuck up top. There was about 1' on the ground, some snow must have stuck from earlier and put a slick base down.
