I hate to admit it, but I am eating my words.

I just got off the phone with my investment "guy" and told him to sell everything and put it in cash.

I could not take it anymore.........

If you knew the figures, it would bring you to your knees. My "head in the sand" approach is not any longer acceptable. Had to do it............

I have to wait until this thing finds the bottom.

The banks are going to pull us under I am afraid.......


Anyone else in this position?

The problem with the banks is Obama has a big damn mouth.
He mentioned he wanted to do with the US banks what the Swiss did with their banks.
Nationalize them and then try to sell them to the free market.
THe problem with this is the fact the swiss still own the banks.
They nationalized them all right, and then kept them.
The US banking system is terrified that Obama is going to nationalize the US system. That is why everyone is selling like crazy.

sorry to hear it. about the only way you are gonna make any $$ soon is in oil. you should be able to keep $$ in metals, but be sure you buy actual coins....not certs.

9/1/2004 was the day i quit working at Deutsche Bank. Sold 90% of what i had in the market and spent the rest. Now that was a great investment

I am glad I still have my retirement. I have lost half of my deferred comp, and I am sure I will lose more. I am to the point that it will not be worth to pull out now, so I hope it rebounds so I get some of my loss back. If not I will probably lose most or not all of it.

I feel lucky, I didn't have that much in. Some people I know have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars and were only a year or two from retirement. They now can't retire.

Buy gold or silver. I'm done with anything paper unless its a deed to property or the title to a vehicle.

Invest in BP, Exxon Mobile, Chevron, Shell etc. for oil and natural gas. I recomend BP because I work for them.

Ya I did this a bit ago there was a friday (i don't remember the day) when everything jumped back up for a day.. cleared out..now I'm just playing the waiting game before I put i back in, and trying to save as much as I can before then.

UM, zero sounds mighty conservative don't ya think. I agree it was a mess, but I say it is more of a mess now.....no thanks to the bush or obama handouts.

research the oil co's and pick one....they are all close.
