"We" didn't cave. A Japanese owned company caved, we're just the ones having to hear about it and missing out on a movie that's probably better for BlueRay than the theater anyway.
Not that it matters much... any company working in these United States, employing American citizens, etc. should be protected, to some degree at least.
I'm much more concerned about the ramifications if we don't respond properly to this type of threat. For the purpose of SONY, I could give a rats ***... but when it comes to the main point of this type of an attack and the larger potential an attack like this could wreck in other areas/industries/services/etc., this was just dipping a toe in the water to see what happens, imo. We need to consider this as damn near an act of WAR, as it has apparently been proven to be N.Korean Govt. sponsored.
