HMK Team BOA Fit size wise?

I am interested in buying a pair of the HMK Boa boots but before I order I was wondering how they fit size wise? Looking at their sizing chart I am confused because I am all over the chart depending on what shoe I am wearing and I don't have any local dealers that carry them to go try them on. My shoe size ranges from an 8 to a 9.5.

90% of the shoes I wear are 10.5. When I ordered mine I was originally getting my pants fixed due to a rip. They said sizing is what ever your shoe size is. For the most part, yes, but I would recommend doing 1/2-1 size bigger, depending on how thick of socks you wear. I wear pretty thin socks, so it works fine for me, but if I were to do it over, I would have done the 11's.

I sell these boots, and I wear them. I suggest you buy the same size as your street shoes. I wear size 10 in street shoes, and the HMK 10 fits me well.

I wear size 11 street shoes and have size 12 HMK Boa's. I wear Cabela's Ultimax medium weight socks and the boots are tight. Definitely go larger than street shoe size for blood circulation in your feet and to keep your toes from being jammed against the boot toe.

I wear 13's in normal shoes and I bought 14s in the hmk, I could definitely use 15's though

Go up one size, they fit pretty close to standard size but with larger socks, go one size bigger!

Size 9 street shoe, 10 in HMK. Have had a few pairs, with a thicker ski sock one size up from street shoe is perfect.

Well I went this route a year ago....I had a pair of the older HMK boots and they were sized very small. The new ones however are pretty dang close to perfect. I wear a 13 in Nike's and a 13 in the team boa focus and they fit great. I wear medium thickness socks ( you don't need really thick socks with these boots), Infact I wear shift motorcross socks and they work awesome. Anyways I love the boots and would reccomend them to anyone looking for a snowboard style true waterproof riding boot.

Order the same size as your shoes and wear thin non cotton socks.

Okay guys thanks for all the replies! I ordered them yesterday from Blown Motor and I ordered the same size as I wear in a street shoe because I cant stand wearing big thick socks. I will get them tomorrow so we will see how they fit and I will keep you guys posted.

16 street shoe, 17 HMK because they don't make an 18!!

Poor fit over the ankles, will probably not replace with this model in the future.
