Anybody else wearing HMK Pro Boa Focus Boots? I have been wearing them since Christmas and they are killing my ankles.. I loved the boots but for some reason they hurt the sides of ankle. I didn't have this problem with the last pair of HMK Boa's I had.. Anyone else have a pair of these boots? With or without the same problem??

i have the pro boas...no problems, was skeptical of the boa system but now that i've tried it, much better than laces....no ankle problems with mine

I bought a new set this year a size bigger.. and they were still pretty tight around the ankle area.. however once i wore them riding them loosend' up a bit and fit perfect now.. maybe try contacting them.. they have some of the best customer service in the industry..

If the boots are a little big the boot might be folding inwards. If that is the case, put another thicker footbed in them. This will move your foot up taking the volume out and will not let the boot fold in. The longer you wait to do this, the longer it takes for the boot to "learn" to flex the other way.
