HMK pit coat

I was just curious if anyone has used this as their riding coat and how it funtioned for them? Is HMK Close to KLIM or not really? Thanks

Klim vs HMK

So do I get the vibe the HMK is as good or possibly better stuff? Is the warranty as good. I have read that KLIM will replace a leak 4 years later... What about that put coat. Thanks

I told the HMK rep at Jackson that i love their stuff, but asked him if there was a solution to breaking cables on the BOA boots i had. He GAVE me (as in free) a whole new kit for both my boots and a backpack...

HMK is great. I also like FXR. I think i am going with the HMK ascent pant and bandit pull over, useing my fly and HMK gloves, and a Fly carbon/kevlar helmet. I wish HMK would make avilanch airbag systems... They might be affordible then.

I received my Boondocker HMK Tech Jacket at the Puyallup show a little over a month ago, I have worn it probably ten times, already the zipper pull broke, and the bottom Bungee Cord Cinch Snapped already too...it is the only HMK product i have so its hard to judge but not a good experience

If you are looking for a riding jacket then do NOT get the pit coat. Pit coats are for standing around in the pits at races and designed for racers to wear over all their other race gear to stay warm, then just before the race they take off their pit coats to race. Get an actual riding coat from klim or HMK. I personally love my KLIM gear and would buy again in a heartbeat. Maybe check out Motorfist too.
