I purchased these Dec '11 for $210 and wore them on about six to eight rides. However, because they are a bit to small for me (I wear a 34/34 jean) with knee guards, the knee area took a bit of abuse and one side has worn through the stitching. I contacted HMK regarding warranty and never heard anything back. Not a bad fix to simply patch with the right equipment. I even still have the tag off them.
