Hmk boots

I bought a new pair of HMK Highmark pro's and I am just woundering how long it will take to get them to bend a little so they don't feel like a club at the end of my leg.

I've got about 40 rides on my pro Boa Focus and they still feel that way......Because that is the way they are supposed to be. If you want a lighter less rigid HMK boot you should go with the Voyager. The Highmark's will always feel like a snowboard boot.

They will form to your feet after a while, but they will always provide max ankle support and feel stiff when walking. They are meant for riding, carving, sidehilling, etc not walking, so the stiffness is a good thing. Regular pac style boots are great for keeping your feet warm, but they do not provide the ankle support that helps make you a better rider.

When I first bought my HMK pro boa's they were difficult to get used to. Now that I have over a season on them I love em. Awesome ankle support. And if your feet start to sweat in them get a good pair of wicking socks and that will solve that problem quick, I had just regular socks last year and my feet were always drenched, this year I bought some wicking socks and my feet are dry and hot when I am done riding!! Good luck

Anyone have a problem with them cutting into the back of your leg?

Not when your leaning forward climbing mountains! Just kidding, I had to crack on my old home state of Minnesota.

I haven't experienced them cutting into the back of my legs, but just like any boot, they fit everyone differently.

I think you are going to be happy with them. I just got a pair as my 2nd pair and so far I'm very happy with them! Should be a good boot and the guys at HMK have always taken care of me.

I feel pretty stupid after reading your post. I bought them for cleaning out my driveway and ice fishing cuz I don't know how to tie my shoes yet. jk What part of Minisoda where ya from?
