has anybody else had the tread/sole tear off there pro boa boots?
My first pair was warrantied;) I had about 4 rides on them. Th 2nd pair made it about 6-7 rides:mad: The rep said the first time was a fluke? I don't think so just want some input. I know the rails on the xp have good grippers, but common

Thanks,cold1

My pro boa's are almost a year old the the left boot is just starting to come off, I will e-mail and send pics to HMK to see what they can do for me before it comes right off.

I bought a pair at the start of this season and the sides sure get chewed from my running boards. You'd think they wouldn't be made of foam on the sides near the bottom. Not impressed with the material choice. :(

Yep mine came off on the left boot. I am waiting to hear back from them to see what they can do for me!

I've been getting about 3000 riding miles out of a pair of boots. I think that is pretty good. He could use a harder sole compound but then people might complain that their feet slide around too much. Might make the boots heavier too?
I dunno, I am not a boot expert.

Haven't seen anyone of my buds come apart yet. I always use my snowboarding boots and its happend once with them.

Mine are junk after 2yrs. soles came off and one foot has always got wet from day 1. Went to klim this year... best purchase ever. absolutely love them...

Well don't replace them with FXR boots. My laces needed replacing, I contacted the manufacturer and they said:"Unfortunately, the laces that we have in stock right now do not fit the boots that you have. You’ll have to see if you can find them someplace else. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for contacting us!"

I agree, this seems to be the only place my boots are getting chewed up. The material in this area is to soft. My running boards aren't nearly aggresive as the newer sleds and after 4 rides are allready getting chewed up.
